PELLET TESTER 17000
Working Principle
Different methods are used to measure the quality of pellet feeds. The Pellet Durability Index (PDI) is one of the main parameters used to determine pellet quality because it indicates the percentage of pellets that remain intact after being submitted to mechanical forces. Pellet feeds are subjected to friction, impact and pressure during storage, transportation and shipping from factory to farm. Low-quality pellets are broken down, resulting in a fine-grained feed with few pellets. The Pellet Durability Tester uses tests developed by Kansas State University to predict the amount of fine particules that will be present in pellets at feeding time. The Test Result is interpreted as a standard measure of quality called the Pellet Durability Index (P.D.I). The testing steps are simple and a minimal amount of equipment is required.

Working Principle
RESISTOGRAPH 500 represents the quality characterization of the flour sample to be analyzed in the form of a graph. The diagram resulting from the test is divided into strictly fixed single components and the evaluation results are given according to international standards.
The force on the analyzed sample is recorded graphically as a function of time, with the elongation force initially increasing, reaching a maximum with the increase in tensile force offset by the decrease in the other part of the sample. Then the slope gradually decreases, and after the dough breaks, it suddenly drops. In the graph obtained, the strength of the dough against its efforts in the spread analysis of the curvature, the density of the curvature is the elastic expression.
