Bastak Bread Volume Meter 13300 – Precision Instrument for Accurate Bread Volume Measurement

The Bastak Bread Volume Meter 13300 is a specialized bread volume measurement device designed to accurately determine the volume of various bakery products, including bread, steamed bread, and irregularly shaped solid foods. This bakery product volume analyzer is essential for quality control in the baking industry, providing insights into bread formulation, ingredient quality, dough handling, gas retention, and processing conditions.

Operating on the principle of seed displacement, the device measures the volume of a sample by comparing it to the volume of millet grains. The process involves filling the measuring chamber with millet seeds to a zero level, placing the sample in the chamber, and then determining the displaced volume by reading the level of seeds in the transfer tube. This method ensures repeatable and precise volume analysis, independent of operator influence.

Key features of the Bastak Bread Volume Meter 13300 include:

  • Compliance with AACC Method 10-05, ensuring standardized and reliable results

  • Mechanical operation, eliminating the need for an electrical power source

  • Simple, easy, and fast usage, enhancing laboratory efficiency.

  • Ergonomic design for ease of use and mobility

This bread volume measurement device is widely used in flour mills, bakeries, pastry and pasta industries, biscuit manufacturing, grain warehouses, and research and development laboratories. Its ability to provide accurate and consistent measurements makes it an indispensable tool for professionals aiming to maintain high-quality standards in bakery product production.

AACC Method 10-05
Bread Volume is one of the most important physical quality control characteristics of bread. It is an important feature of the quality control process of bread production as well as consumer appeal. It provides information about bread formulation, ingredient quality, dough handling, gas retention and processing conditions, as well as its texture. The device is used for quality control observations and food analysis applications as well as for production process controls of bakery products. Bastak Brand 13300 Model Bread Volume Meter is a special measuring device for measuring the volume of bread, steamed bread and various irregular solid foods.Advantages;
–  The most advanced and accurate method available for determining the volume of bread
–  Repeatable and precise volume analysis
–  Simple, easy and fast use
– Operator-independent measurements
–  Compliant with AACC Standards
–  The device works mechanically, and does not require an electrical supply

Working Principle;
The working principle of the device is based on the fact that the grain used for testing is equivalent to the volume of the tested bakery products. The measuring chamber of the device is turned downwards.
Seed transfer is made to be used for displacement from the measuring chamber until it reaches the zero level. Transfers must be made by keeping them upright at 90°. After zero adjustment is made, the measuring chamber is turned upwards. The sample to be measured is placed in the unit so that the seeds can easily enter its surroundings. The device, which is closed after insertion, is rotated 180 °. Afterwards, the volume of the seed in the transfer tube is read from the degree.

Scope of application;
–  Flour mills
–  Bakery industry
–  Pastry Industry
–  Pasta Industry
–  Biscuit Industry
–  Grain Warehouses
–  Grain and flour buyers/sellers
– Research and Development Laboratories
