Cation Eluent Generator

The Cation Eluent Generator is the key technology of the new generation of ion chromatography system.Its basic principle is using electrolysis of water and iontophoresis technology to realize online preparation of eluent, with the eluent concentration being proportional to the applied current. Pure water, as a working medium for pumps, can produce eluent with desired concentrations precisely and realize gradient elution only by controlling the operating current, without having to use expensive multi-element pumps. EDG eliminates not only manual errors in formulating eluent but also the interference of carbon dioxide in the air. This advantage is especially noticeable with commonly used MSA eluents.
