Crimp Headspace Vials are primarily used for headspace sampling in Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis, a technique used to detect volatile and semi-volatile compounds in samples. In this application, the bottle is heated so that the volatile components in the sample enter the portion of the air above the bottle (i.e., the “headspace”). These volatile compounds are then introduced into a gas chromatograph for separation and detection.
Application
- Environmental Analysis: Detecting contaminants such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in water or soil samples.
- Food and Flavor Analysis: Analysis of flavor components and spices in food or beverages.
- Drug Analysis: used in drug development and quality control to analyze solvent residues in raw materials and finished products.
- Chemical and Petroleum Product Analysis: used to monitor and determine the content of volatile compounds during chemical production and petroleum refining processes.
- Forensic Analysis: Testing biological samples (such as blood) for alcohol or other toxic substances.
Features
- Bevelled top for maximum seal security and to prevent sample contamination while providing Consistent, secure seal;
- Flat and round bottoms vial are available and can be used on a variety of headspace instrument; Round bottom vials are compatible with most autosamplers, and the injection arm is more convenient to pick up vials from the tray.
- Ideal for a variety of applications, including pharmaceutical, environmental, energy and fuel, forensics, materials science, biopharmaceuticals, proteomics and metabolomics, and etc.
- Perfect match, suitable for various models of autosamplers such as Agilent and Waters.
- Ensure size consistency from batch to batch. A 100,000-level dust-free purification workshop ensures product cleanliness.
