ROLLER MILL 4000

Working Principle

The wheat to be ground in the mill must first be sieved in the analysis sieve and purified from weed seeds and substances. Then, in order to easily separate the shell from the grain, it should be annealed by giving certain amounts of water and grinding process should be carried out.

Bastak Roller Mill 4000 – Precision Laboratory Milling for Accurate Flour Analysis

The Bastak Roller Mill 4000 is a state-of-the-art laboratory roller mill designed for precise milling of both dampened and undampened wheat samples. Engineered to deliver accurate and consistent results, this laboratory roller mill is essential for quality control in flour production and cereal research.

Featuring a robust construction and ergonomic design, the Bastak Roller Mill 4000 offers a grinding capacity of 150–300 grams per minute, with an efficiency rate of 40–60%. The device utilizes a timing V-belt system to prevent clogging during operation, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted milling. Its adjustable wheat feeding system allows users to control the grinding speed and quantity, catering to various sample requirements.

The mill is equipped with separate collection chambers for flour and bran, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring the purity of samples. A transparent front panel enables users to monitor the grinding process visually, while the easily removable glass components facilitate quick cleaning between samples. Additionally, a glass window in the sieve unit allows for real-time observation of the sieving process, enhancing operational control.

Compliant with ICC No. 189 standards, the Bastak Roller Mill 4000 is suitable for conducting various analyses, including wet gluten, gluten index, dry gluten, falling number, Zeleny sedimentation, and rheological tests. Its compact dimensions (425 x 570 x 600 mm) and net weight of 59 kg make it an ideal choice for laboratories with space constraints.

Whether you’re involved in flour quality assessment, cereal research, or milling process optimization, the Bastak Roller Mill 4000 offers unparalleled precision and reliability in laboratory milling applications.

DESCRIPTION:

It is a laboratory type roller mill. It is used in grinding both annealed and unannealed wheat, after grinding, flour and bran are taken from two separate chambers without mixing. It is a blending mill that enables the necessary changes and corrections to be made by predetermining the values of the flour to be ground in the factory. Depending on the wheat quality, it has 50-60% flour yield.

ADVANTAGES

–      It has ICC No. 189 standard.

–      It is the laboratory analysis mill that best separates wheat bran and endosperm in its class.

–      Grinding speed and amount can be adjusted thanks to the wheat feeding setting in the device.

–      Wet gluten, gluten index, dry gluten, falling number, fungal falling number, zeleny sedimentation and rheological tests can be performed on the samples obtained from the device,                          respectively.

–      Grinding capacity is 150-300 grams.

–      Grinding efficiency is 40-60%.

–      It has a robust, long-lasting, ergonomic design

–      It offers the user a unique grinding experience.

The two main products obtained by grinding the wheat grain are wheat flour and bran grain. For the miller who first processes the wheat, the quality is that the white flour yield and milling quality of the wheat is high, but the energy consumption is low. Wheat flour yield is not only an important feature of the milling industry, but also an important feature of wheat quality. By using experimental grinding methods (AACC 1983, 26-20, 26-21, 26-30), commercial grinding performance can be determined by grinding trial of wheat with the help of laboratory research mills. With Bastak Brand 4500 and 4500S model laboratory type double passage mills, the values of the raw materials to be grinded in the factory are determined in advance and by this way necessary changes and arrangements can be made for production.
