The Spray Box by Bionis is an essential piece of laboratory equipment designed to provide a controlled and enclosed environment for spraying operations involving reagents, stains, disinfectants, or volatile solutions. Constructed from high-grade, chemical-resistant acrylic or polymer panels, the Spray Box features a fully transparent structure for clear visibility of internal procedures. This allows for easy monitoring during the application of spray treatments while minimizing the risk of overspray reaching surrounding surfaces or personnel.
The box includes integrated glove ports or side access openings that allow operators to safely manipulate samples, TLC plates, or slides inside the chamber without direct contact with airborne substances. The non-slip interior surface ensures that plates and samples remain stable during spraying.
With its easy-to-clean surfaces and resistance to chemical agents, the Bionis Spray Box is ideal for repetitive use in analytical labs, research institutions, and clinical environments. The Spray Box serves as a protective device when spraying TLC/HPTLC plates with aggressive solutions. A built-in low-noise ventilator leads the spray mist via the pipe connector on the rear into a fume cupboard. The pipe adapter of the ventilator leads upwards. It can be connected to the standard installation tube NW 110. This converts the spray box into a small exhaust cupboard on the bench. The air feed is 400 m3/h. Any reagent run-off is collected into a separate trough. The spray box is made of acid-resistant PVC and can hold plates up to 200 x 200 mm. If requested, a special, chemically inert tube is also available. Length: 2 meters.
