Visualizer HP-UVis NxG:
The Visualizer HP-UVis NxG is a next-generation visualization system designed for laboratories demanding high precision, safety, and integrated digital imaging in UV and visible light analysis. Combining powerful illumination, real-time imaging, and user-friendly operation, it is ideal for TLC plate analysis, nucleic acid gel documentation, protein blot visualization, and forensic applications.
At the core of the HP-UVis NxG is a dual-mode lighting system featuring multi-wavelength UV sources (254 nm, 312 nm, and 365 nm) alongside white light backlighting. This versatility enables researchers to analyze a wide variety of substrates and stains, from fluorescent dyes to chromogenic compounds, with maximum clarity and contrast.
The new Visualizer HP-UVis NxG combines four UV-lamps for 254/310/345/365 nm in one unit! Two inclined plate tables with a non-slip surface are positioned one above the other. Incident stray light is minimized by the cabinet, which is closed on 3 sides, so that an observation is possible without the need for a darkroom. Due to the use of a high-pressure mercury vapour discharge lamp, the HP-UVIS NxG provides a very high radiation intensity at 365 nm for fluorescence evaluation of thin-layer chromatograms. In this respect, it is superior to all analyzing lamps with cold light tubes. Fluorescent substances can still be detected in nanogram quantities. One 8 W low-pressure tube together with a selected filter guarantees an optimum contrast at 254 nm. The new HP-UVIS NxG is equipped with a UV protection shield.
Its enclosed chamber ensures operator safety, equipped with a glare-free viewing window and automatic UV cutoff when the door is opened. Uniform lighting across the viewing surface guarantees reproducible image quality, while the chemical-resistant, easy-clean body ensures long-term durability even in high-throughput environments.
The integrated high-resolution digital camera system captures crystal-clear images, controlled via an onboard touchscreen interface or remote software. Users can preview, capture, store, and export data easily via USB or direct-to-network transfer, streamlining workflows and documentation.
