Food Contamination Monitor PM1406

PM1406 Food Contamination Monitor is intended to measure the radionuclide activity in food and liquids. Instrument measures specific (for solid and dry substances) or volumetric (for liquids) activity 137 Cs + 40? nuclides in the sample. The instrument also enables permanent or periodic radiation monitoring of the ambient radiation background.

Food contamination monitor PM1406 is a high-sensitive detector for measuring radionuclide-specific and volumetric activity in food. CsI(TI) scintillation crystal is used as a detector. Marinelli Beaker (0.5 l. volume) is directly fixed on the detector so that it is surrounded from all sides therefore the maximum measurement effectiveness is achieved.
